Cookie policy

Cookies set by this site

None. The pages of euribor-rates.info are static files and the site itself sets no strictly necessary cookies: there are no logins, no shopping basket, no preference to remember. The mortgage calculator runs entirely in your browser and stores nothing.

Cookies set with your consent

Google Analytics 4. Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier. They contain a random visitor identifier and timestamps, and are used to count visits and to distinguish new from returning visitors. The IP address is anonymised and the data they produce is retained for 14 months. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland they are set only if you allow them in Google's consent message; elsewhere analytics is on by default and you can stop it from your browser.

Google AdSense. This site carries advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and the ad partners it works with set cookies to deliver ads, to measure them, to cap how often the same ad is repeated and — only where you have allowed it — to choose ads based on your interests. Those cookies are set from Google's own domains, such as doubleclick.net and google.com; they are not readable by euribor-rates.info, which never receives them. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland nothing is set for advertising until you have answered Google's consent message. Refusing does not remove the advertising: it makes it non-personalised, chosen from the page you are reading rather than from anything known about you. The full list of ad partners is shown inside the message itself, and Google describes the cookies it uses at policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.

The consent notice

The notice is Google's European regulations message, a Google-certified consent management platform. It replaced this site's own banner on 23 September 2026, when advertising was switched on: only a certified platform may collect the consent Google requires before ads are served in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, and running a home-made banner beside it would have asked you the same question twice and recorded two different answers. One notice now covers both advertising and analytics, and your answer is stored on your device in the standard industry format so that you are not asked again.

Outside those countries the message is not shown and consent is not requested; analytics is on by default and no personalised advertising is selected for you without it.

How to withdraw consent

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time in two ways:

  1. From the site. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the cookie settings link in the footer of any page reopens Google's consent message, where you can change or withdraw each purpose separately. The link is not shown in countries where the message never appears, because there would be nothing for it to reopen.
  2. From your browser. Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies for a given site, and most let you block third-party cookies altogether. Deleting the _ga cookies resets your analytics identifier; blocking third-party cookies prevents the advertising cookies described above from being set at all.

Declining does not limit anything on this site. Every rate, table, chart and calculator works the same with or without consent; advertising still appears, but is chosen without using your data.
