Controller
The data controller is the operator of euribor-rates.info. Contact for anything related to your data: [email protected].
What is processed, and why
Server logs. The site is served by Cloudflare. Cloudflare records standard technical data about each request, including the IP address, the requested page, the time, the browser identification string and the referring page, in order to deliver the site, protect it against abuse and produce aggregate traffic statistics. Legal basis: the legitimate interest of operating and securing a website.
Google Analytics 4. The site loads Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation. It records which pages are visited, in what order, from which country and on what type of device, and assigns a random identifier stored in a cookie to distinguish returning visits. It is used solely to understand which pages are useful and in which languages. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it runs only with your consent, given through Google's consent message; elsewhere it is active by default and you can switch it off in your browser. Legal basis: consent where consent is required, otherwise the legitimate interest in understanding which content is read.
Google AdSense. The site carries advertising served by Google AdSense. For that purpose Google, acting as an independent controller for the advertising itself, processes your IP address, the page you are on, your approximate location, your device and browser, and identifiers stored in cookies, in order to select, deliver and measure ads and to limit how often the same ad is shown. Where you have consented to it, the same data is used to personalise ads and to build an interest profile for that purpose; where you have not, ads are selected from the content of the page only. Legal basis: consent in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, given through Google's consent message; the legitimate interest in funding the site elsewhere. Google's own description of this processing, and the list of ad partners involved, are available through the consent message and at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Contact e-mails. If you write to [email protected], your address and the content of your message are stored in the mailbox for as long as needed to reply and to keep a record of any data correction you reported. Legal basis: the legitimate interest in answering correspondence.
The site sets no cookies of its own, and it does not collect names, account details or any financial information. There are no user accounts.
Retention
Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months and then deleted automatically. Advertising identifiers are retained by Google according to its own published retention periods, which this site does not control and cannot shorten. Cloudflare log data is retained according to Cloudflare's own retention periods for the service tier used. E-mails are kept as long as needed for the correspondence and are deleted on request.
Recipients
Data is processed by Cloudflare (hosting and delivery) and by Google (analytics, and advertising through AdSense and its ad partners). Cloudflare and Google Analytics act as processors under their standard terms; for advertising, Google and its partners act as independent controllers of the data they collect, which is why that processing rests on your consent rather than on an instruction from this site. Personal data may be transferred outside the EEA under the safeguards those terms provide. No personal data is sold or rented, and none is shared with any bank or financial institution.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to the personal data held about you, for its correction or erasure, for restriction of processing, and for a copy in a portable format. You can withdraw consent to analytics and advertising at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer, which reopens Google's consent message, or by deleting the cookies in your browser. Requests concerning data that Google holds as a controller for advertising have to be made to Google; requests can otherwise be sent to [email protected].
If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. You can address it to the data protection authority of your own country of residence.
Consent management
Consent is collected through Google's European regulations message, a Google-certified consent management platform, which replaced this site's own banner on 23 September 2026 when advertising was switched on. It covers advertising and analytics together, it is shown to visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, and your answer can be changed at any time from the link in the footer.
Changes
This notice is updated when the processing changes. The date at the top of the page is the date of the last revision.
